หนังว่าด้วยสิ่งของที่มีชื่อว่า Lament Configuration ซึ่งก็คือกล่องรูบิคที่ว่ากันว่าจะมอบความสุขสูงสุดแ ก่ผู้ที่เปิดมัน แล้วแฟรงค์ คอตตอน (Sean Chapman) ได้ซื้อมาครอบครองและเปิดมันจนสำเร็จ แต่เขากลับต้องเผชิญกับนรกที่สุดจะสยองจนถึงแก่ความต ายไป
